In this information system, which includes first and second storage devices that synchronize (copy) data to each other, a first quorum device connected to said storage devices, and a second quorum device connected to the storage devices, in a health-check process that is executed repeatedly and controls whether or not to execute I/O requests in accordance with an execution-permission setting, each storage device stores availability information for that storage device in the first and second quorum devices, checks whether or not availability information for the other storage device can be found in one of the quorum devices, and sets its own execution-permission setting on the basis of whether or not availability information can be stored in one or both of the quorum devices and/or whether or not availability information for the other storage device was found in one of the quorum devices. |
