The present invention relates to an apparatus for washing test tubes. The apparatus comprises: a lifting shaft in which a washing brush is detachably combined with the bottom thereof; a shaft driving part which is combined to the lifting shaft to rotate the lifting shaft; and a body casing which accommodates the shaft driving part and the lifting shaft to be lifted, has a lifting hole which exposes the lifting shaft to a lower part, and is equipped with an input part which receives the driving force of the shaft driving part from a user. The shaft driving part comprises: a driving motor; a pair of moving rails which are vertically disposed in the left side and the right side of the body casing; a motor support shaft which is combined with an upper part of the driving motor and both ends of which are combined to a pair of moving rails; a lifting shaft support bar which is arranged in the transversal direction in a lower part of a pair of moving rails and has a combining hole through which the lifting shaft passes on a plate surface; and an upper stopper and a lower stopper which are disposed on both sides of the motor support shaft and detect the upper stopper and the lower stopper, wherein a female thread is formed in an inner circumferential surface of the combining hole, a male thread is formed in the longitudinal direction in an outer circumferential surface, and when the lifting shaft is rotated by the driving motor, a rotational movement of the lifting shaft is converted into a linear movement by a screw combination of the female thread and the male thread of the combining hole, the driving motor is normally and reversely rotated in accordance with the result of detection by the detecting sensor, and the motor support shaft upwardly and downwardly moves along the moving rails.
