PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more flexible and wide photodetector design space, by separating the relationship between the bandwidth and responsiveness.SOLUTION: A photodetector device includes a first mirror 220, a second mirror 230, and a light absorption region 210 arranged between a first reflector and a second reflector. For example, the first mirror may be a low reflectance mirror, and the second mirror may be a high reflectance mirror. The light absorption region is arranged so as to absorb the incident light passing through the first mirror and reflected between the first mirror and second mirror. The first mirror is constituted to exhibit such a reflectance that the amount of light energy escaping from the first mirror after reflected on the second mirror will be zero or approximately zero. |
