PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article-of-commerce sales data processing apparatus capable of accelerating accounting operation and facilitating confirming contents of transactions now in progress on a screen viewed by a clerk.SOLUTION: A settlement operation display 124 of a POS terminal includes a settlement region 302 displaying a transaction number 304a indicating a first transaction, article-of-commerce information on the first transaction, and a total amount of money, an amount of deposit money, an amount of change; a second customer window 305 displaying a transaction number 305a indicating a second transaction and a settlement amount; and a third customer window 306 displaying a transaction number 306a indicating a third transaction and a settlement amount. The settlement region 302 occupies more parts than half the overall area of the settlement operation display 124, and the next customer window 305 and the third customer window 306 are provided in a remaining region. This can facilitate the visual recognition of a clerk for information on transactions now in progress. |
