The invention relates to a load connector for transmitting electrical current, particularly for use in a motor vehicle. The load connector comprises a housing (2) in which a metallic spring contact (3) is provided for supplying electrical current from a current line (4), said spring contact (3) establishing a force-fitting contact with a metallic flat pin of a corresponding connection when the load connector (1) is connected to said connection. Said load connector (1) is characterised in that its housing (2) is closed by a housing cap (6) the inner side of which has a contour (606) designed such that the spring contact (3) is form-fittingly secured in the housing (2) by means of said contour (606).
