<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely read out information from a storage medium attached to an attachment member attached to an image forming apparatus and to surely write information in the storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: An attachment member 360 is formed in a cylindrical shape and a storage medium 17 is attached on its outer peripheral surface. The attachment member 360 is also provided with two insertion parts 361 which are inserted into an insertion port provided on the main body of an image forming apparatus when a toner cartridge is attached to the image forming apparatus. When the toner cartridge is attached to the image forming apparatus, the insertion parts 361 enter into the insertion port of the image forming apparatus. By this, movement of the toner cartridge is restricted, and positioning of the toner cartridge is performed. Thus, contact between terminals of the storage medium 17 and the terminals provided on the image forming apparatus is easily maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
