摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film that is excellent in transparency, mechanical strength and heat resistance while controlling birefringence within a desired range by reducing or offsetting the orientation of a highly orienting resin, and a method for manufacturing the optical film in a simple method while controlling birefringence within the desired range. <P>SOLUTION: Organic-inorganic composite particles bearing an organic group on the surface of an inorganic particle and having an average maximum length of less than 350 nm are prepared. The organic-inorganic composite particles are dispersed as primary particles in a highly orienting resin to give a particle-dispersed resin composition.
