The striker box (1) has a lock housing (2) comprising a lock case (3) and a lock cover (4), a rod attachment (10,11) mounted in the lock housing, and a switching nut (12) coupled with the rod attachment. A locking device is provided between the rod attachment and the switching nut in an action-oriented manner, which prevents the actuation of the switching nut by applying force on the rod attachment when the rod attachment is in an extended position.
