An embodiment of the present invention provides a method for a building component modeling apparatus generating a template of a first component, which is a building component. The template generating method comprises the steps of: recording a procedure of generating the first component via at least one first primitive among a plurality of primitives; analyzing the procedure of generating the first component to extract at least one first parameter which defines the first component; and generating the template of the first component using the at least one first parameter.
