<p>The roof apex guard 10 comprises a bottom wall 11 having an array of apertures and an inner side edge arranged to abut a side wall of the building, and a front wall 13 extending parallel to said side wall. The guard may be a mesh or a grid, and have fixing apertures 17 in a rear wall 15, the rear wall being parallel to the front wall and perpendicular to the bottom wall. The front wall be a truncated isosceles triangle, and have a flap 12 that can be opened and closed. There may be convergent top walls 14 meeting at an apex. The guard may be hollow and made of plastic or metal. There may be tassels attached in several locations. A method comprising fixing the guard against the wall under the apex or gable of a roof.</p> |
