<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for drawing a metallic tube capable of preventing seizure by enabling sufficient lubricant adhesion on the inside surface of the metallic tube when drawing the metallic tube. <P>SOLUTION: A method for drawing a metallic tube includes a process for applying a lubricant of temperature T<SB POS="POST">A</SB>(°C) on the surface of a plug for forming an inside surface, a process for inserting a plug 11 applied with the lubricant into the inside of a metallic tube stock 2 and arranged therein, and a process for drawing and working the metallic tube stock 2 by passing it through between a die 10 for forming an outside surface and the plug 11, while applying the lubricant L of temperature T<SB POS="POST">B</SB>(°C) on the outside surface of the metallic tube stock 2. The same lubricant as the lubricant L to be applied on the outside surface of the metallic tube stock is used as the lubricant to be applied on the surface of the plug, and T<SB POS="POST">A</SB><T<SB POS="POST">B</SB>is established between the temperature T<SB POS="POST">A</SB>and the temperature T<SB POS="POST">B</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
