<p>An optical receptacle includes a cylindrical optical fiber attaching section for attaching an end portion of an optical fiber, a cylindrical photoelectric conversion device attaching section for attaching a photoelectric conversion device having a light-receiving element, and a lens for optically coupling the end portion of the optical fiber and the light-receiving element. A face of the lens that faces the end portion of the optical fiber is formed into a planar face having a slope angle of 14 degrees to 16 degrees in relation to a virtual plane perpendicular to an optical axis of the lens.</p> |
