<p>A passenger conveyor will not reduce operational efficiency and can ensure safety even when stairs are dismantled in maintenance and overhauling and when overhauling operation is carried out. The passenger conveyor comprises the multiple stairs; a driving device which makes the stairs move; a falling detection part which can detect falling of the stairs; a switch part which can switch general operation and the overhauling operation; and a control part, wherein the driving device is used to stop movements of the stairs when the stair falling is detected by the falling detection part in the general operation and the driving device can notify situations about the stair falling when the stair falling is detected by the falling detection part in the overhauling operation.</p> |
