<p>The ophthalmoscope has a collecting lens system (3) for generating a real intermediate image of an area (4) in an eye (2) in an intermediate image plane (5) and an observing device with an imaging optics for imaging the real intermediate image in an image plane in the observation device. Another controlled lens system is provided between the former lens system and the imaging optics of the observation device for increasing a working distance (A) between the former lens system and a pupil (10) and for increasing a field angle (alpha). An independent claim is also included for a method for observing an eye, particularly background of the eye.</p> |
