<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method and kit with higher sensitivity in which a combination of antibodies specific to catα1 microglobulin is employed. <P>SOLUTION: A method for measuring a concentration of catα1 microglobulin in a sample comprises a step of performing a method selected from the group consisting of enzyme immunoassay (by a sandwich method), fluoroimmunoassay (by a sandwich method), radioisotope immunoassay (by a sandwich method), immunonephelometry and latex immunonephelometry by using a first antibody produced from a cell strain Mouse-Mouse hybridomaα<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-m mAb3 and a second antibody produced from a cell strain Mouse-Mouse hybridomaα<SB POS="POST">1</SB>-m mAb4.
