<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device of a compression self-ignition internal combustion engine in which air-fuel mixture temperature is optimized, and which can accurately control combustion timing estimated based on in-cylinder pressure to desired combustion timing in a current operation condition.SOLUTION: A combustion control device of a compression self-ignition internal combustion engine includes a constitution that performs correction control to intake valve opening timing in consideration of an internal EGR gas amount flowing backward and a heat transfer characteristic between an intake pipe wall and internal EGR gas; and controls the intake valve opening timing so as to remove an excessive heat amount from air-fuel mixture without introducing change of combustion speed with change of an inactive gas amount.</p> |
