<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic semiconductor having a phase-separated structure and also having excellent thermal stability, solvent resistance and durability, and a composition useful to form the organic semiconductor. <P>SOLUTION: The composition includes a first component system (an aromatic carbonyl compound having a plurality of carbonyl groups and an aromatic amine compound having a plurality of amino groups) for forming a first phase, and a second component system (an aromatic aldehyde compound and an aromatic heterocyclic compound having a plurality of freeα-carbon positions adjacent to the hetero atom of the heterocyclic ring) for forming a second phase capable of phase separation from the first phase. At least one of the component systems includes a polyfunctional component having three or more reaction sites and forms an organic semiconductor phase having a three-dimensionally crosslinked structure of aπ-conjugated system (π-conjugated system substantially in the whole).
