<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report to a user terminal when the acceptance of a request is rejected, by the notification to the user terminal that the request is discarded or by the distribution of a substituted video content. <P>SOLUTION: An IP network relay device determines whether or not the multicast distribution request transmitted from the user terminal is acceptable. On determination of the rejection of acceptance, the IP network relay device obtains a notification to report the acceptance rejection from a video distribution server, so as to transmit to the user terminal. When rejecting the acceptance, the IP network relay device acquires a multicast video data from the video distribution server, reduces the information amount of the multicast video data by a certain amount, and transmits the multicast video data having the reduced information amount to the user terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
