<p>An ultrasonic oscillator (1) provided with an oscillator body (2) and a coil (3). The oscillator body (2) has an oscillation-generation section (2A), which generates ultrasonic oscillations upon the application of an alternating magnetic field, and an oscillation output section (2C), which outputs the ultrasonic oscillations generated by the oscillation-generation section (2A). The oscillator body (2) is formed as a single unit from an amorphous alloy that has magnetostrictive properties and has a glass-transition region that exists over a temperature range of at least 20°K. The coil (3) applies an alternating magnetic field to the oscillation-generation section (2A) of the oscillator body (2).</p> |
