Preparing hollow body-shaped baked products from edible, baked waffle cakes, comprises: reshaping the baked waffle in the hot, formable condition, including supplying the baked waffle in the hot, formable condition to a deep-drawing aperture, pre-forming fold regions of a planar form of the baked waffle into a preformed shape, which is curved in the fold regions by a pre-forming device, and deep-drawing by a punch into the deep-drawing aperture, where the folds regions of the waffle cakes are superimposed into a multilayer; cooling during and/or after the forming process; and solidifying. Preparing hollow body-shaped baked products from edible, baked waffle cakes, comprises (a) reshaping the baked waffle in the hot, formable condition, which includes (i) supplying the baked waffle in the hot, formable condition to a deep-drawing aperture, (ii) pre-forming fold regions of a planar form of the baked waffle into a preformed shape, which is curved in the fold regions by a pre-forming device, and (iii) deep-drawing by a punch into the deep-drawing aperture, where the folds regions of the waffle cakes influenced by pre-forming, respectively are superimposed into a multilayer during deep-drawing process, (b) cooling during and/or after the forming process, and (c) solidifying. INDEPENDENT CLAIM are also included for: (1) the hollow body-shaped baked product at least partially made of a consumable, baked waffle cakes, which has a cup-shaped form in the hot, formable condition and during and/or after the forming process, where the product has the fold regions extending as multiple layers, which are distributed at the periphery symmetrically, rotationally symmetrical and/or in a regular manner; and (2) an apparatus for preparing the hollow body-shaped baked product, comprising (a1) a deep drawing device with the deep drawing opening, through which a baked, formable and solidifiable waffle cakes are positionable, (b1) the punch, which is at least partially insertable over a punch moving device from a position outside of the deep drawing opening into the punch moving device, and (c1) the pre-forming device in the region of deep-drawing aperture for pre-forming the waffle cakes from the planar shape into the preformed shape, which is curved in the fold regions. |
