PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system that carries out effective operation control in response to seasonal variations in heat demand and to daily heat demand.SOLUTION: A home-use fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell stack 11 that generates electricity and heat through an electrochemical reaction between fuel and oxygen; a mechanism 21 that supplies fuel gas to the fuel cell stack 11; mechanisms 31 and 32 that supply air to the fuel cell stack 11; mechanisms 51, 52, and 53 that supply cooling water to the fuel cell stack 11; and a control section 41 that, in response to heat demand, switches between a normal operation in which the fuel gas, the air, and the cooling water are supplied at respective predetermined flow rates and a low flow rate operation in which at least one of the fuel gas, the air, and the cooling water is supplied at a lower flow rate than in the normal operation. |
