The present invention concerns a method to prepare a binding composition for a precious metal-based decalcomania formulation comprising in the following order the steps of: mixing a polyamine and at least one first carboxylic acid to obtain a polyaminoamide; mixing the polyaminoamide with an epoxy resin to obtain a mixture; heating the mixture; adding to said mixture a second carboxylic acid having 2 to 4 carbon atoms, in the presence of cyclohexanol; evaporating the cyclohexanol. |
