Provided is a battery pack including batteries and a battery management part. The batteries are selectively connected in parallel through module switches. The battery management part detects a module voltage of each of the batteries, controls the module switches to connect the batteries in parallel in order from batteries, having the lowest module voltage, to batteries, having the highest module voltage, in a charging mode, and controls the module switches to connect the batteries in parallel in order from the batteries, having the highest module voltage, to the batteries, having the lowest module voltage. |
