A tool holder (11, figure 7) for holding a doming punch (12, figure 7) comprising: a tool head (1a, figure 4) having a hole extending transversely therethrough, the hole being adapted to receive the shank of a doming punch; a cylindrical stem (1b, figure 4) connected to the tool head; a locking member 3 accommodated by the tool head having a V-shaped cradle head end and an inward end, the locking member having a threaded or tapped portion extending longitudinally throughout the locking member, and the locking member being longitudinally movable to releasably engage the shank of the doming punch; an internal shank 4 extending longitudinally of the cylindrical stem and having a threaded end adapted to threadingly mate with the threaded portion of the locking member; and a revolving handle (2, figure 4) coupled to the stem for accommodating the internal shank, the revolving handle being adapted to rotate the internal shank with respect to the cylindrical stem, to releasably retain the shank of the doming punch between the V-shaped cradle head of the locking member and the receiving surface of the tool head. |
