PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device, capable of processing forward error correction decoding by inputting a logarithmic likelihood ratio for each coding bit into forward error correction decoding to perform most likelihood decoding.SOLUTION: The radio communication device receives a signal including a coding bit sequence generated by forward error correction coding an information bit sequence, to decode the information bit sequence. The radio communication device includes: communication path equalization means for performing communication path equalization on the received signal; based on a function retained in advance to calculate a logarithmic likelihood ratio, LLR calculation means for calculating a logarithmic likelihood ratio from in-phase and orthogonal phase components of the signal equalized by the communication path equalization means, to output as metric; and forward error correction decoding means for decoding the information bit sequence from the metric. |
