<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an olefin polymer which enables to use an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent instead of an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent of a great environmental load as the solvent used at preparation of a catalyst, or the like, and has preferable olefin polymerization activity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing an olefin polymer includes a step of feeding an olefin polymerization catalyst to a polymerization reactor and solution-polymerizing the olefin in the polymerization reactor, where the olefin polymerization catalyst is obtained by mixing (A) a metallocene compound, (B) a compound forming an ion pair by reacting with the metallocene compound (A), (C) at least one compound selected from (C-1) an organoaluminumoxy compound and (C-2) an organoaluminum compound (excluding compounds corresponding to the following (D)), and (D) an aluminum compound having an Al-H bond with (E) a hydrocarbon solvent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
