<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for producing ethanol with a short production flow and which is easily reduced in size and cost, and can be integrated with an incinerator when food waste is used as a raw material. <P>SOLUTION: The device for producing ethanol includes: a unit for charging starchy raw material or/and a cellulosic raw material; a culture tank for continuously carrying out saccharification treatment and fermentation; an air blowing unit for blowing air to a fermented culture solution in the culture tank; and a distillation unit for recovering the ethanol from the gas discharged by the blowing air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
