<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrophilic thin film exhibiting good hydrophilicity and excellent in durability, and to provide a method for producing the hydrophilic thin film by a simple means. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrophilic thin film includes an Al-O-P bond and is less than 20 nm in a ten point average roughness (Rz) of its surface, measured using a scanning probe microscope. The method for producing the hydrophilic thin film comprises subjecting an alumina thin film provided on the surface of a substrate to hydrothermal synthesis in an aqueous solution of a phosphate group-containing compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
