<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication control system and a communication control method which can dynamically prevent a WAN line from being pressed even if unexpected heavy traffic occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A communication control system comprises: a WAN accelerating device provided in a prescribed base among bases connected with WAN lines; and a band control device. The band control device holds priority control object information about which whether a packet should be a priory control object or not is set for each type of packet. The WAN accelerating device monitors and stores traffic data on the WAN accelerating device for each piece of protocol information included in the packet.
