The spacing element comprises first 2 and second spaced apart, and preferably parallel, surfaces and a sloped intermediate 4 surface that lies at least partially between the first and second surfaces. In use the first surface supports a fence panel while the second surface is mounted upon a gravel board. The sloped intermediate surface is either curved or planar. The first surface may be defined by several protrusions extending from the intermediate surface. The sloped surface may be a conical or frustoconical continuous surface. Also claimed is a fence with the a gravel board, a fence panel and the spacing element. |
