The present invention provides an electric compressor and a method for assembling the same assembling a stator and a compressor housing to connect the stator and a connector of an electric motor when a fixing pin is inserted into an insertion hole formed in the connector to temporarily fixate the connector in order to be capable of simplifying a manufacturing and assembling process.
