A method for a multiple snapshot backup includes the steps of: determining whether a copying occurs during writings when a writing or update operation occurs to a data block; recording the original data of the data block in a snapshot storage depending on the determination of copying during the writing; and recording the time that the original data is recorded in the snapshot storage and the physical address to a connection list corresponding to the logical address of the data block. A method for restoring multiple snapshots includes the steps of: determining specific data blocks for recovery among random data blocks in a storage medium when an event occurs for restoring a specific snapshot time; determining a connection list which is a reference among the connection lists corresponding to the logical address of the data blocks; and overwriting the original data of the data blocks with the data recorded in the snapshot storage based on the connection list.
