<p>The present invention relates to a system and a method for generating work data of a surface mounter. The system comprises: a mounting position data extracting unit for extracting mounting position data from a file having a defined component central point corresponding to a printed circuit board; a pad data extracting unit for extracting pad data from a gerber file corresponding to the printed circuit board; a component pad group data generating unit for generating pad group data for each component from the extracted mounting position data and pad data; a geometric data generating unit for generating geometric data of components from the generated pad group data for each component; a component package DB searching unit for outputting a candidate component package list by searching a component package DB by using geometric data of components; a component package selecting unit for selecting component package data from the outputted candidate component package list; and a work data generating unit for generating work data from the mounting position data and selected component package data. According to the present invention, a mounting position of a component for a printed circuit board is extracted, and a step of selecting a component package for each component is automated. Finally, time taken to perform a step of generating work data of a surface mounter is reduced, and convenience may be improved.</p> |
