<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine ignition coil capable of reducing thermal stress applied to each component of the ignition coil when it is subjected to temperature changes due to heating and cooling temperature cycle of an internal combustion engine and heat generation by itself. <P>SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine ignition coil 1 comprises: a primary coil 21 and a secondary coil concentrically arranged on inner and outer peripheries; a resin case head 3 provided with an arrangement hole 31; a resin case cylindrical portion 4 whose outer peripheral end 41 is arranged in the arrangement hole 31; and an epoxy resin 6 which is filled in gaps formed in the case head 3 and the case cylindrical portion 4. An outer diameterϕD1 of the outer peripheral end 41 is smaller than an inner diameterϕD2 of the arrangement hole 31. Peeling resin 7 having a glass transition temperature higher than the minimum viscosity temperature at which the viscosity of the epoxy resin 6 decreases to the minimum during heat-curing of the epoxy resin 6 is provided between the outer peripheral end 41 and the arrangement hole 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
