The present invention relates to a scroll compressor comprising: a fixed scroll including a first plate unit; a fixed scroll including a first spiral element formed on the first plate unit; a second plate unit arranged to face the first plate unit, and rotating by receiving torque; a rotating scroll formed on the second plate unit, including a second spiral element forming a compressive chamber between the first and second spiral elements in accordance to the rotation of the second plate unit; a valve formed inside the first or second spiral element, selectively discharging a compressed coolant inside the compressive chamber outside of the compressive chamber by being operated in accordance to an external pressure change of the compressive chamber. The present invention enables a change in capacity of reducing a coolant discharge capacity by discharging the coolant inside the compressive chamber to a suction chamber if a suction coolant pressure is low; thereby obtaining the effects of reducing torque and improving fuel efficiency.
