<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical unit for an emitting device capable of obtaining emitting light that has a light quantity distribution satisfactory in a wide emitting area, and to provide an emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: The optical unit for the emitting device is an optical unit for a light emitting device configured such that light beams made incident from a plurality of light sources are independently guided and emitted by a plurality of fiber bundles formed by binding many fiber strand wires. This optical unit has a plurality of coupling lenses by which a light beam made incident on from each light source is guided to each fiber bundle. The fiber strand wires are bound at the basal end of each fiber bundle, thereby forming a light incident face on which light from each coupling lens is made incident on, and the fiber strand wires are joined in a rectangular form at the leading end of each fiber bundle, thereby forming a light emission face from which guided light is emitted. The leading ends of the fiber bundles are arranged and joined in one line such that the light emission faces continue one from another. The fiber strand wires of each fiber bundle are arranged two-dimensionally densely in a square near a joint between at least adjacent light emission faces of the light emission face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
