摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a system and a method to reduce the friction resistance of a vessel by using a piezo-thermal device, capable of reducing friction resistance given to a vessel by reducing viscous force of surrounding seawater by increasing the surface temperature of the vessel with an waste energy source such as slamming pressure or motion of the vessel by attaching a piezo-thermal device to a surface of the vessel, and economically reducing the friction resistance. According to the present invention, the system includes the piezo-thermal device generating heat by using a voltage, generated from outer pressure, by being attached to the surface of the vessel, to which the outer pressure is applied, and therefore, the system is capable of reducing viscous force of seawater around the vessel by increasing the temperature of the vessel with heat of the piezo-thermal device.</p>
