An electronic vapour generating device 100, such as an electronic cigarette, contains a mouthpiece 140 that can be stored inside the main housing body 110 of the device with said mouthpiece acting as a power on/off switch when moved between the housed configuration and in use arrangement. Preferably, setting the mouthpiece 140 to the operative configuration changes the actuator to a second state in which the atomiser 150 and power source 160 are electrically coupled. Preferably, moving the mouthpiece 140 sets the actuator into a position where the actuator is electrically coupled with the power source 160. Preferably, the actuator comprises a switch 170 which is operable through reconfiguration of the mouth piece 140. Preferably, the mouthpiece 140 is slidably coupled to the housing and said slidable coupling is biased; preferably, means of biasing is a spring and/or magnet. A cartridge 130, comprising an atomiser and used for providing liquid for use in a vapour generating device is also disclosed. |
