<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of swinging of temporary stairs by regulating tilting movement of the temporary stairs having an inclination angle set variable. <P>SOLUTION: A stair body of temporary stairs, which has an inclination angle set variable, includes first and second inclined supports, and a plurality of treads which have both ends rotatably connected to the inclined supports by means of pins. A stopper member 19 to be attached to the stair body comprises: an engaging member 20 in which an engaging recess 22 to be engaged with the pin is formed at a tip and an abutting part 23 on which the pin abuts is formed at a base end in the state of facing the engaging recess 22; a fastener 30 to be attached to the inclined support; and a connecting rod material 40. When the pin is engaged with the engaging recess 22, the stopper member 19 is directed upward.
