<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag capable of smoothly developing an airbag body in a predetermined position and protecting the airbag body from the pressure of expansion gas. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag includes a bag-like airbag body capable of being developed with respect to an occupant in a vehicle cabin while covering a predetermined side of the vehicle cabin. A gas supply part 32 that supplies expansion gas G for developing the airbag body is provided in the airbag body. The gas supply part 32 includes an inside passage 46 that guides the expansion gas G fed from a feed port 44 along the longitudinal direction of the airbag body. The inside passage 46 includes a communication port 58 toward a direction of intersecting the longitudinal direction of the airbag body. A direction of flow of a part of the expansion gas G is regulated by an outside passage 47 opposed to the communication port 58 so that the flow of the expansion gas G supplied into the airbag body through the communication port 58 is reduced toward a direction of intersecting the longitudinal direction of the airbag body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
