Disclosed is a portable terminal comprising: a base unit; a frame combined to be relatively rotatable to the base unit; a latch bar installed to move both directions in the base unit, locking the frame arranged to cover the base unit when moving in one direction, and unlocking the frame when moving in other direction; and a locking unit respectively installed on the base unit and the latch bar, and moving the latch bar using electromagnetic force.
