The object of the present invention is to provide a rotating electrical machine capable of being downsized and having a detection element 11 for detecting the rotation of a pemanent magnet rotor along with a detection board. A motor 1 includes an almost annular stator 4, a rotor 3 arranged inside the stator ring for rotating about a central axis X, a sensor 11 for detecting the rotation of the rotor 3, and a sensor board 7 for implementing the sensor 11. The sensor 11 and the sensor board 7 are arranged outside the stator 4 in axial direction (along the central axis X). The sensor 11 is working with projecting and receiving of light while the disc reflects the emitted light. |
