A display apparatus includes a display panel which includes a first substrate, a second substrate which faces the first substrate, has an area which is smaller than the area of the first substrate and partially exposes the edge of the first substrate, a fixing member which is arranged on the partially exposed edge of the first substrate and a bonding member which is arranged between the first substrate and the fixing member, a mold frame which is arranged on the lower side of the display panel and supports the display panel, and a lower receiving container which receives the display panel and the mold frame.
