<p>A motor vehicle seat element comprising a truss structure 3 positively or materially joined to a first sheet element 1 and the truss structure is also positively or materially joined with at least one outwardly-accessible, separately manufactured functional element 4,5 or at least a second sheet element 2. At least one sheet element may be manufactured of a metal material such as steel and formed by shaping by rolling, bending, deep drawing or compression molding. The truss structure may be manufactured out of a light metal material such as aluminium or magnesium alloy by casting, in particular injection molding. At least one sheet element may comprise a channel-like recess, in which the truss structure would be arranged. The truss structure may comprise ribs of various wall thicknesses. The functional element may be a sleeve, fitting 5, bolt 4, or strap. A motor vehicle comprising the seat element and a method for manufacturing the seat element are also claimed.</p> |
