<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the free capacity of a storage unit of an RIP device from becoming insufficient during rasterize processing. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 1 of an image processing system 3 divides image data into a plurality of tasks, and allocates the tasks to a plurality of RIP device 2. Assuming that the rasterize processing of unallocated tasks ends, and processed data are generated, the image processing system 3 searches for predicted unallocated usage as the usage of a storage unit 21 of an RIP device 2 predicted to be used for storing the processed data of the unallocated tasks and a predicted free capacity as a prediction value of the free capacity of the storage unit 21 at a point of time when all the rasterize processing of the allocated tasks of the RIP device 2 ends. Then, when the predicted unallocated usage is smaller than the predicted free capacity, the unallocated tasks are allocated to the RIP device 2. Thus, it is possible to prevent the free capacity of the storage unit 21 of the RIP device 2 from becoming insufficient during the rasterize processing of the tasks. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
