<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve image conversion in which the number of pixels is increased or decreased by a naked-eye type three-dimensional image display device including an image display surface and a selection optical system for selecting images therefrom as right-eye/left-eye images. <P>SOLUTION: A display image by integral photography presents a stereoscopic image to a reader through compound lenses for presentation. 1) A two-dimensional image is constituted by arraying parts of respective element images of the display image that the reader views through element lenses for presentation similarly to an element lens array for presentation as an element. 2) Image conversion in which the number of pixels is increased and decreased using an interpolation method is performed on the two-dimensional image. 3) An image having pixels of the image-converted image arrayed corresponding to the array of respective element lenses for conversion image representation is generated at a position that the reader views through an element lens group for conversion image presentation having an array similar to the pixel array of the converted image, and presented to the reader. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
