<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power source control device which can perform stable charge control without interposing a charge/discharge control device such as a DC-DC converter between batteries, and to provide a vehicle power source control method. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle power source control device having a plurality of the batteries comprises: the main battery 140a which can feed electricity sent from a power supply source; the sub-battery 140b which can electrically be connected to the main battery 140a; battery-voltage detection parts (S1, S2) which detect battery voltages of the main battery 140a and the sub-battery 140b, respectively; and a connection control part (S3) which calculates a battery potential difference between the main battery 140a and the sub-battery 140b on the basis of detection results of the detected battery voltages.
