1. A reagent kit for measuring platelets comprising:
a first reagent comprising, as a dye for staining platelets, a compound of the following formula (III):and
at least one water-soluble organic solvent selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol and poly(ethylene glycol), wherein said compound is dissolved in said water-soluble organic solvent, and
a second reagent comprising a buffer solution having a pH of 7.0 or more,wherein the first reagent and the second reagent are stored separately.
