<p>The present invention relates to an electromechanical converter, in particular an electromechanical sensor, actuator and/or generator, which comprises a polymer element obtainable from a reaction mixture comprising a polyisocyanate, a polyisocyanate prepolymer and a compound having at least two isocyanate-reactive hydroxy groups. The present invention additionally relates to a process for the production of such an electromechanical converter and to the use of a polymer element according to the invention as an electromechanical element.
