The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for detecting an error of drawing information that is created by using a computer such as computer aided design (CAD) information, the invention comprising: an input unit for receiving drawing information; an extraction unit for extracting member list information including standard information of each member from the drawing information; a confirmation unit for confirming the drawing marking state of drawing objects constituting each drawing included in the drawing information; and a control unit for detecting an error from drawing marking state of the drawing objects by comparing standard information of respective members corresponding to the drawing objects, and respective drawing marking state of the drawing objects.
